More isms

I love these pictures that my sister G took. Course I am not a fan of Butterball's hair so I may not like his pictures till it grows out. I can't wait!

Butterbean said, "My Grandma still wishes I was small and stinky. Cuz I used to be so stinky when I was a baby." And she was! She had horrible gas, turns out it was because she was also allergic to dairy. And then she said, "Grandma also made up that song about me, 'Peggy smells like monkey doo.' What is doo?" I told her it was another word for poop. She said, "That's disgusting! She used to sing, 'Peggy smells like monkey poop?' That is so gross." Love it.I have a video playlist on my computer of some songs I like to listen to when I am doing stuff. On it is Shakira's song Hips Don't Lie. My son, Butterball was sitting there watching some of my videos when that one came on. He said, "That one goss. Turn it off." I love my boy that thinks that woman showing any skin is gross. I hope he keeps that up.

I was down under the house working with the food storage and Butterball was watching me. He said, "Mom your bum." I didn't say anything as I was struggling in that small space and not sure exactly what he was talking about. Then he said, "That OK. My bum shows like that when I do that too." Oops! What a cutie.

Rolling in eyeballs

I have a friend who used to make the cutest Halloween eyeball treats every year and I decided to try it this year. Mine don't look as cute as hers but it was still fun. Butterball is super excited as I made enough for him to take to Pre-school tomorrow for his class mates.

Pumpkin Carving

We carved our pumpkins tonight. I was impressed how much time they took to try and do it themselves. It was cute. My daughter has carved her own the last 2 years and was frustrated thsi year because it wasn't looking right. She even said that one eye was bigger than the other. I said he had Ptosis just like her so he was fine. he heThe green one is Appleseed's. It was fun and the kids were so excited. Butterball watching tv sitting in one of my pots. What a nut.

Butterbean had a party and on the way home we stopped at a near by park to play. The kids had a blast. Butterball telling me some cutting story about him and his imaginary friends.Appleseed playing near a tire. I love these pictures of him. He is so sweet. And the result of playing with the tire. All of them in their costumes. So cute. We went to a carnival at a dance studio tonight which was a lot of fun for the kids.

Pumpkin Patch

Butterball had a field trip to a pumpkin patch for his school. He has been so excited about this and enjoyed telling Butterbean how he was going without her. Course once we got there you wouldn't know he had been excited. He cried almost the whole time we were there. Then we had to leave early as I had gotten a call from Butterbean's school. She had had an accident at school. I was worried that she might be sick as that NEVER happens. Turns out she had to go really bad and had to clean the toilet seat off from the prior child that she ended up wetting her pants while doing so. Poor thing.

Butterball would not look at the camera at all. The pill. And I know Appleseed is in a Santa hat. It fits and it is warm so we wear it.Our neighbor friend came with us. Butterball was super excited to have him come also. Course you wouldn't know it by the picture. Turns out he was upset because he wanted to be up there by himself. After we took Butterbean a change of clothes we waited in the car as she was getting out of school soon. Appleseed was furious that I would not let him chew on the keys. But Butterball found a way to entertain himself. So I thought this place was so neat that we decided to go back with Butterbean this time. And of course I got some better pictures. That Butterball is so exasperating sometimes. His mood swings drive me bonkers! But alas it was not meant to be. My poor Butterbean thought she had to "toot" and apparently it was something else so we had to leave early again. So funny. That poor girl.Later that night we went to the school movie night. My kids loved it and ate a ridiculous amount of junk. And of course Butterbean BEGGED for more through the whole movie. Appleseed had a hard time as he was tired until I let him chew on a straw. Then he was fine. It was such an awesome and fun day.

Game Night.

We had game night for FHE. It was a lot of fun for at least me. My kids crack me up. My daughter was asking who was in charge of what and my son said, "I in charge of scipture cuz I a man." My daughter told him he was not a man and wanted to know what he really was in charge of. Butterball again said, " I am too a man so I in charge of scipture cuz men supposed only one that can read sciptures." Now where did he get that idea? It was so funny.

I was talking today with my kids about the dreaded H1N1 shot and my daughter, of course, already started crying about it. She asked me, "Do dead people have to get the shot?" I seriously tried so hard to not laugh as I told her no. Then she wailed, "Oh I wish I was dead!" She makes me laugh so hard.

Zoo, Zoo, and more Zoo, ok only two zoos

My first zoo trip. Our in case we get lost photo. Even with those older kids that we did lose. Shame on them. And we actually did lose Butterbean. I was so scared. And mad that I could lose another kid at this dumb place. It turned out that she was just a ways off watching us and smiling. Here we are looking scared, me crying and yelling her name and my daughter is watching the whole thing smiling! I was furious and stunned that she would do that. She said, "But I could see you." I think she was enjoying it a little too much for my taste. Our little train ride. I know this thing is super short but I still love it. I had such a great time with my sister and her girls. Thank you gals! I had forgot my camera so my sweet sister provided me with the photos. There were more but my computer was not liking loading them. Here is this "in case we get lost photo". Whew! We did not need this one and no one was lost. Yeah! Butterbean covering her ears because Butterball was screaming because he just got stung by a bee on his neck. She can be so mean I swear. She kept saying, "Not standing next to the screaming boy."Butterball holding a sting antiseptic towelette on his neck. Poor thing. He told me, "That bee tied to choke me. He was a mean bee."Appleseed with sympathy pains for his brother. The gorilla was eating a piece of cardboard. It was so funny.Thank you to my sisters and kids for going with us. We also went with a neighbor and her family. Clearly we should have taken their in case we were lost photo because we lost them quite a bit. He he.

When can I breathe?

Let me just say....I AM SOOOOO TIRED! And yes I am posting this at a ridiculous hour when I should be asleep but if I don't do it now it may be weeks before I have time. Now that my turn to teach Preschool is over for the next 6 weeks I have been canning, canning, canning. I am exhausted! I barely squeak out a page of scriptures each night before I crash. I haven't had the energy to read a regular book for fun at all. I never just sit and do nothing while watching TV. I love canning and the end product is awesome but boy am I tired right now. For those of you that text me...I am sorry as I barely get back to them and when I do I feel so distracted. It is nuts. I have some posts I want to do like zoo trips and Awesome Aunts coming to visit but I may never get to them. We will see. So here is just some happenings this past week.

This is an award the cute neighbor boy made for me to give to the best Preschooler. It says "Best Babe" (Baby) on it. It is the cutest thing. He is such a fun kid. I will have to see but I am betting I will be able to find someone.....maybe someone that lives in my own home.....he he. It is adorable! My neighbor's daughter made this for me. Isn't that gorgeous? I love it!!!Butterbean created her own hairstyle again. I started it thinking I could convince her to change a bit of it. No such luck. Then when I told her it looked dorky and that we needed to switch stuff it didn't help. And yes out of frustration I said something dumb like....I wasn't going to take a picture of it as I was not going to make it again. (I have been taking pictures of them to put in a book so she can go through and pick her hairstyle for the day.) After that she started crying and ran off to her room. What a meanie I am. So of course when I calmed her down I took a picture of it and told her I would blog about it and kept it just the way she wanted it. Her "boyfriend" was recently moved up to 1st grade because he is so smart. That has been a trial for us this week. She cried when she found out as they used to play together at recess and he was her partner during extended day. She does not see the 1st graders during the day also so that made it worse. The few times she has seen him in line before school have been cute. There she is all shy but trying so hard to get his attention so she can just say "Hi" to him. It is adorable. This is my boy wearing his "cowboy hat". I know it is not the best picture but it took some major trickery to get this. That boy and is distaste for having his picture taken drives me nuts sometimes. And this is what I have been doing. Am I close to being done? NO!!!!! But I will be.....oh in say a week or so. I am so excited though as a neighbor lady gave these to me for FREE!!!!! I seriously have the best neighbors. And that's it. Nothing but craziness and canning. I live for those things. he he.

Rock On!!!

This is our neighborhood rock band. They sound pretty good. They even trade off who is the lead singer, or "rocker" as they call it. It cracks me up but they are having a great time.

What a day!

Ugh...are you kidding me? I have decided that HE was the one secretly hiding them all over the house so that he could find them when he needed. I love the thumb in it. He used to do that all the time. So cute. Later he found another one and it cracked me up because he wasn't sucking on it but just laying there kicking the door, singing, and chewing on it like crazy. He was drooling all over with that one. This is what I spent part of my day doing. Yeah! I am glad I got some done. I am not done by a long shot but it is all worth the work in the end. And my house has been suffering so I stayed up late to get caught up on the cleaning. Ahhhhhhhh....again all worth it. Course I may be dragging tomorrow.

It really is all over isn't it?

This is how I found Appleseed...in the bathroom, in the dark, happy as can be.Eating a magazine. He has yet to figure out that stuff is in that drawer. Darn. That will not be fun when he does.I finally did put some of these books up when I found that he had taken a bite out of one. That little nut!
