Mischief in Bethlehem again!

Things have been pretty calm in Bethlehem this year. Surprising as last year we had several incidents. Then suddenly I saw these two on top of the train. They were running away from a "bad guy"! So Mary is leaving Baby Jesus?!? What is up with that?And I am sorry but this is very suspicious to me. He is suddenly missing his whiskers and a piece of popcorn is there? Very very suspicious!

Inventions

I call this one inventions as one time I had mentioned to Butterball about his "crafts" and he said they were not crafts but inventions. I am beginning to think he does not always sleep well at night because he will get up and immediately have a whole idea he wants to create.

My son woke up one day telling me he was going to make a movie camera and show movies in his room. This is what he came up with. He hung the box up on the wall, inside is a bright flashlight. Then he turned on a book on CD and we reenacted the scenes with our hands on the door. It was so wonderful and inventive. I loved this one and he loved having us all in there participating.This is him doing the hand "puppet" on the door.One day he was not feeling well and was laying on the couch. He made this little remote holder so that he could just reach out and use the remote. It was so cute but a huge source of tension as his little brother kept knocking it over.
My son has begged me to teach him how to sew. So one day I was taking in some of his pajama pants and decided to let him do a pair. This is the job he did. Not too bad! I told him that he did not need to go all the way around like that but he said he liked it that way. It worked and he wears them. Yeah!He had show and tell one day at school. He came home and immediately started creating this. It is a little home for the raisin guy. He spent several hours on it. Funny thing was after he was done and had shown it to his class he was done with it. I find it interesting that he can spend hours on something and be done with it so quickly.He wanted me to get an up close picture of the raisin guy.And this is the ceiling with the light for him.Much to my husband's dismay I save containers and boxes and what not all the time. He will wander back to where I keep them and get so excited about it and will immediately come up with a use for it. One nice thing is he can use them for a week or two and then will be done and what them thrown away. Nice!
