Butterball and his isms

Fell asleep while I was reading. He seriously claimed he did not know what was on his face for a good 10 minutes. I can't believe him. So funny! He cracks me up that he has that table in bed with him. Love it!"When I was up in Heaven, Heavenly Father helped put Appleseed on my lap so that I could hold him. Him nice."

He saw a picture of Jesus near the tomb and he said, "When him died I was in there taking care of him. I wanted him to come back to life." Later in the day I wanted to see if he would remember what he had said. So I asked him if he remembered what he had said about Jesus in the tomb. He said the exact same thing as before.

"When you was married me and Butterbean were up in Heaven and I tagged her. And we were playing with Jesus and we played ring a round the rosy with him. It was fun."

Train Museum

Sorry but either I have been too busy to blog or my darn internet would be acting up. It has been driving me bonkers. I just hope I am actually able to post this.

A friend of mine dragged us to the Train Museum. I was so excited as we have not had a chance to go there yet. Butterbean opened her mouth again and told Butterball how big and scarey the trains were and how he should be very careful.....blah, blah, blah. She has never been here before either but it worked. It scared poor Butterball, my dare devil, so that what few trains he did climb on he clung to the sides. Can you believe how big that tire is and how small it makes my Butterball? So cute. This is Butterbean and her friend. I never got any pictures of her on the trains as these two kept running around all over. They had a good time.Appleseed loved when I let him out to crawl around. He thought it was neat.I had a light bulb in my diaper bag so that I could take it to the store to try and find a replacement one after the museum. And Appleseed found it. He is my own little Uncle Fester. So cute. And yes I took it away from him right away.....after I took the picture. he he

More messes and homework?

Appleseed again!!!! That kid!Butterbean's family picture that she did for school. When Butterbean sat down for school then Butterball wanted his own homework. I got him out a preschool workbook and he got this instead. He colored it and then put glue on the entire page. Even had me come check his work like Butterbean does. So funny.

What a mess!

Ugh! Here is just some of the reasons I have so much trouble getting and keeping this house clean. What is sad is this is just in the last few days.Butterbean put chapstick on her wall.Chewing on a toothbrush from the garbage can.Enjoying more garbage.

Blinged Out!

My daughter thought her school sweat shirt was too boyish so I blinged it out for her. And can you believe she still said she thought it was too boyish? I think she expected me to bling it and dye it pink or something. But then she decided she loved it.

The Candy Sale

I thought I would try a new idea this year. I let the kids have free rain with their Halloween candy for two days and then told them that they could sell me the rest and take the money to go buy a toy. Butterbean of course had to think about it as she is a major candy fiend. But they finally jumped on board. Butterbean had a hard time dividing her candy up into what she wanted and what she wanted to sale. But she finally made it. I was actually pleasantly surprised with her final decision. The pile on the floor is the one she wanted to keep. And the bowl is what she is selling to me.And I was not surprised at all my Butterball's decision. The single candy bar is what he is keeping. So precious. And for those of you that gave them a ton of candy.....don't get mad because it all went to a good cause. We mailed it to my friend who is over in Iraq. I bet her and the other troops will enjoy it a lot. Here is the toys that they bought with their money. It was a good deal I thought and the kids were super excited to pick out some new toys.

Trick or Treat

We spent Halloween with relatives this year and it was so much fun. My kids were so excited and constantly asked when we were going down for Halloween.

Appleseed had a harder time than normal for some reason and cried a teeny bit. Poor thing. Otherwise he was very good and just sat in the stroller looking at all the kids.We went to a carnival at the Elementary there. It was the biggest carnival and so cheap. We had a blast and the kids all came away with tons of prizes. Here we are playing the fishing game.
Butterball wanted to go ride the bouncy slide outside. When I told him "Not yet." he kicked me so I wouldn't let him play the next game and he had to sit in time out. Here is our cousin M playing a game where you had to dig in some "boogers" to get out some eyeballs. I kept telling Butterbean that it was real boogers. She was so disgusted and while she was in line kept saying to herself, "Be brave. Be brave."Butterball had this adorable disgusted face the whole time he was digging in the "boogers".A picture of all of us together. M made her costume with her Mom. It was very pretty.Later we went trick or treating. My kids have never really done it where you go from house to house. After about house 5 Butterball was done. He kept saying he wanted to go back to 'E' which was the town we were in. I kept telling him we were there already but I think to him 'E' means his Grandparents house. Funny. So he just sat on the curve and ate some candy while the girls went trick or treating. I ended up carrying him for a bit and would ask him if he wanted me to take him up to the house and he would say no. He ended up with probably 1/4 of the candy his sister had but he could have cared less. Butterbean ended up crying and saying she wanted to go home so we ended it early. Later after she had "rested" she went out with her cousin M again. It was a wonderful time. Thanks to our families for helping make it so great.

Appleseed mischief

Appleseed is quite the handful with all this crawling. He is always under foot. Crawls right towards those open no-no doors. And I am sure that walking bit will be right around the corner. He is so cute and fun and we all adore him. This one is his favorite. Watching the kids take a bath. I have now taken to putting a gate in the door if I can't sit in there with him. He loves to watch them though. It is so cute.

Crazy Hair Day

Butterbean had Crazy Hair Day at school. She wanted to do her hair herself originally. I finally convinced her to let me do it. It did not turn out how I wanted but it was still fun and she liked it so that is all that matters.
