It is supposed to have a hole?!!?

Today was wick removal day. So I did and he HAS A HOLE!!! I called the doctor's office and they said that was fine. Maybe they should warn the mothers about that! They also said he could get it wet. Ewwww! I may wait on that. As I was waiting for the doctor's office to answer I noticed his discharge instructions said, No alcohol for 24 hours after surgery. Is it that bad they have to include that on a babies discharge paperwork?

    Ouch...poor baby. I hate post-surgery care...I remember when Sutton had hernia surgery. You just become so paranoid about every little thing because you have NO idea what is normal and what is not..scary stuff. Hope he recovers quick.

    Wow! What a crazy week you have had. It must be so hard to see your baby in pain!

    Your children are darling. Of couse, I wouldn't expect anything less from you.

    Why don't you plan a "recovery" vacation and come stay at the cabin with us? We are planning a 4th of July "blowout" but you could come any time you want. Heber supposedly has great fireworks and a parade, booths, etc... It's always too hot to do anything down in the valley.
